This is where the earlier steps pay off. By the time we cut steel, your design has been DFM-reviewed and prototyped. No surprises — you approve the mold design and the trial shots before production begins.
Production molds, cut in the Ningbo/Cixi mold cluster — one of the densest tooling regions in the world.
| Mold type | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Small single-cavity (phone-case size) | $4,500 – $7,000 |
| Medium, multi-cavity | $8,000 – $20,000 |
| Large / complex (overmold, sliders) | $20,000+ |
Lead time: 25–45 days depending on complexity. Exact quote after DFM review.
You don't need a supply-chain team in China. That's our job.
Pricing is per project, based on volume and complexity. As a reference point, our management fee typically runs well below what a trading company would take as margin — and unlike a trading company, we show you the factory's actual costs.
One contract, one point of contact, one accountable party. You approve samples, you approve production, you receive inspected goods. Everything between the approved sample and the delivered carton is our responsibility — including the problems. That's the difference between a sourcing agent who finds you a factory and a hosting partner who stands behind the outcome.
If you've already done DFM and prototyping with us, mold quoting is straightforward. If you're starting here, we'll tell you honestly what steps your project still needs.
